‘Be a teen town planner—Planning for a Sustainable Neighborhood Competition (2022-23)’
The Geography students have participated in the ‘Be a teen town planner—Planning for a Sustainable Neighborhood Competition (2022-23)’ co-organized by the Planning Department and the Education Bureau. Out of 170 projects submissions, our 1B students’ project ‘carbon neutral, vibrant, old-new exchange and well-being Kowloon city (Hong Kong edition of Odaiba)’ has been awarded the commendable award. congratulation to our students! Throughout the projects, the students have introduced different sustainable measures to the Kowloon City such as the Lion Rock-themed hotel, the Gundam bases, Thai food cluster, air corridor and pedestrian walking zones. They have applied a lot of knowledge acquired in Form 1 Geography and STEAM curriculum to gain this award from the competition open for Form 1-3 students.
