2023 World Scholar's Cup Tournament of Champions
10 students in 4 teams (3 senior and 1 junior teams) joined the 2023 World Scholar's Cup (WSC) Tournament of Champions which took place from 2nd to 8th November at Yale University in the US. The students had a great exposure by competing with top scholars from more than 50 countries and achieved the best result in our WSC history!
The 4 teams reaped a total of 25 gold and 19 silver medals. 2 senior teams ranked 53rd and 54th respectively out of more than 400 teams and one senior student ranked 33rd out of more than 1000 scholars. We are one of the best Hong Kong teams among all prestigious international schools. Medals were won across Debating, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge and Scholar’s Bowl events! Our scholars also prepared a booth at the Cultural Fair, introducing Hong Kong culture with different souvenirs prepared for scholars around the world.
On their free day, students went to New York and Boston respectively. Their visit to Time Square, Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology was an eye-opening experience, to say the least.
